The family, the primary social environment where the individual develops, plays a role in their comprehensive formation. The objective of the study was to evaluate the family dynamics in the academic performance of students at the Artesanal Educational Institution of Taquile. The research was conducted under a descriptive quantitative approach. A questionnaire was applied to 94 students. Most of the students live in nuclear families. 60.6% come from families where both parents assume the role of heads of household. 29.8% consider the quality to be somewhat unsatisfactory. 53.2% do not have the educational support of either of their parents. There was an association between the evaluated variables. The analysis of family dynamics has a significant impact on the academic performance of the students. Their learning achievements are in progress, which demonstrates the importance of emotional connection and interpersonal support within the family nucleus.
