Resumen

HOLGUIN, Sonnia Apolonia Santos  y  GRIJALBA, Mercedes del Carmen Flores. Humanized nursing care, a need for professional praxis. Vive Rev. Salud [online]. 2023, vol.6, n.16, pp.93-103.  Epub 14-Feb-2023. ISSN 2664-3243.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistavive.v6i16.209.

Nursing as a discipline has reasonably channeled the epistemological support of care, focusing it to such an extent, that in its own complexities it can be appreciated from various approaches, whose core is and always will be the subject who cares, without neglecting the one who is cared for and the humanized aspect that accompanies it. Objective. To determine the behavior of humanized nursing care as a need for professional praxis. Methodology. A qualitative study was developed with a descriptive theoretical approach, supported by the consultation of bibliographic sources selected through the use of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Analyzing the topic on the visualization of humanized nursing care, as an integrated and fair connection provided from the first interaction with the patient and his environment regardless of his condition. In general, the researches consulted refer to satisfactory results regarding humanized care, however, it is valid to highlight that there are still insufficiencies in this regard, since, given the characteristics of the human being, they demand the need for a humanized care and practice in the relationship with nurses. Conclusion. Finally, the study allows us to appreciate the diversity of criteria regarding the conceptualization of humanized care, as well as the need to delimit well-defined dimensions, so far only partially outlined, an aspect that also represents one of the limitations of this study.
