FLORES GARAY, Ines Tabita et al. An Assessment of Agroproductive Competitiveness and Resilience among Coffee Producers in the Huánuco Rainforest Region, Peru. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2025, vol.9, n.26, pp.483-490. Epub 05-Mayo-2025. ISSN 2664-0902. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistaalfa.v9i26.360.
Modern competitiveness demands the effective use of innovative and technological advantages, human capital, strategic decisions linked to global markets, knowledge, and natural resources. Objective. To examine the relationship between agro-productive competitiveness and resilience in coffee producers from the populated center of Cayumba, Mariano Dámaso Beraún district, Huánuco. Materials and Methods. The research was conducted by applying questionnaires to 64 coffee growers, focusing on the variable of agro-productive competitiveness and its three dimensions (strategic capacity, agro-productive growth, and technical capacity), as well as on the variable of resilience and its five dimensions (self-confidence, equanimity, perseverance, personal satisfaction, and comfort with solitude). The results indicate a significant moderate positive correlation between the two variables, as well as between the resilience variable and the dimensions of agro-productive growth and technical capacity. Conclusions. It is important to develop plans that promote the strengthening of coffee growers' competitiveness, taking into account not only resilience but also other variables that determine such competitiveness
