Abstract

TRUJILLO, Juan Rios et al. Associativity for market access by native potato growers in Peru. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.24, pp.779-787.  Epub Sep 20, 2024. ISSN 2664-0902.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistaalfa.v8i24.302.

The associativity strategy is a model that facilitates the improvement in the management and competitiveness of small producers, allowing them access to the market. Objective. Associativity for market access by native potato producers in Peru. Materials and Methods. The research, carried out with a non-experimental design and qualitative approach, analyzed 139 native potato farmers through questionnaires to evaluate the variables of associativity strategy and market access. The results indicate that there is a moderate significant positive correlation between the two variables, and between the associativity strategy variable and the three dimensions of the market access variable. Conclusions. There is a lack of experience and ignorance of the importance of the associativity strategy in market access on the part of farmers dedicated to native potato production.
