Resumen

HUERTA MACIEL, Alvaro Manuel et al. Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Productivity with the Application of Organic Fertilizers. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.23, pp.316-330.  Epub 02-Mayo-2024. ISSN 2664-0902.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistaalfa.v8i23.266.

Earthworm humus and bovine manure are two types of organic fertilizers widely used due to their benefits for plants and soil. The aim of the study was to evaluate the productivity of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) with organic fertilizers. The experiment was conducted at the Agricultural School between September and December 2023. A factorial experimental design (2x4) with eight treatments and three replications was used, evaluating plant height, pods per plant, seed mass, and yield. The results showed significant differences in most variables with different fertilizer doses, achieving a yield with bovine manure of 2176.33 kg/ha and with earthworm humus 2355.25 kg/ha, and a physiological maximum of 30 pods per plant with 4.85 kg/m² of fertilizer. It was concluded that bovine manure and earthworm humus at a rate of 3.23 kg/m² favor the development and productivity of peanut cultivation.
