CRUZ NIETO, Dante Daniel et al. Effect of leachate based on sugarcane residues on the physical, chemical and stomatal characteristics of radish. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.16, pp.186-195. Epub 27-Maio-2022. ISSN 2664-0902. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistaalfa.v6i16.161.
Today, giving added value to sugarcane residues is considered a sustainable alternative for farmers. Objective is to determine the effect of the leachate on the physical, chemical and stomatal characteristics to optimize the yield of radish. The methodology is based on applied research; Therefore, the Completely Randomized Block Design was used, which consisted of 3 blocks and 5 treatments, these were T1 = 0, T2 = 2 l, T3 = 3 l, T4 = 4 l and T5 = 5 l of leachate / 200 l of water/ha, were applied 15 days after sowing. The physical characteristics of the plant, leaf analysis and stomatal index were evaluated. Once the data was obtained, it was processed by analysis of variance and Duncan. It was determined that T4 stood out in plant length with 31.87 cm, equatorial diameter with 3.84 cm, plant weight with 36.39 g, yield with 10.16 tn/ha and stomatal index with 39.13%, but T5 increased oxygen, calcium, silicon and aluminum. It is concluded that there was no dose effect on the physical characteristics, the concentration of nutrients and the stomatal index in T4 increased, which stood out in yield.
