Tourism is focus on environmental, economic and social sustainability, which implies great challenges in the maintenance, conservation and preservation of cultural and natural resources, even more if this activity takes place in protected areas, which are generally part of a country's Natural Heritage and not only provide space for leisure and recreation, also its importance lies in the provision of eco-systemic services. The objective of this study is framed in providing a tool that allows improving the planning of tourist visitation of the trails of the Podocarpus National Park, Cajanuma sector; The methodology is used to establish the carrying capacity proposed, obtaining the physical, real, handling and effective carrying capacity for each of the trails for tourist use in the protected area.
