Group cohesion in the context of student physical education has been identified as a determining factor in the integral development of young people. The aim of the study was to identify the implications of physical education group cohesion in Peruvian students. The systematic literature review method was used following the guidelines of the PRISMA statement. For information retrieval, the inclusion criteria were taken into account, articles published from 2021 to 2025 were selected, 22 articles were included. The results reveal that group cohesion plays a fundamental role in physical education, influencing various aspects of student development. Concluding that group cohesion has a positive impact on students, favors social integration and personal development, promotes essential social values such as gender equality and collaboration, reinforcing the role of physical education in the integral formation of students.
