Positive psychology in higher education fosters student well-being, strengthens socio-emotional competencies, and promotes inclusive educational environments. The objective of this study is to characterize the scientific production in positive psychology applied to higher education between 2020 and 2025. The approach is quantitative, descriptive, and retrospective. The document search was conducted in PubMed. The results indicate that scientific production in positive psychology applied to higher education shows significant fluctuations over the period, with a maximum in 2024 (291 articles, 21.49%) and a minimum in 2021 (229, 16.91%). The year 2020 (269, 19.87%) reflects a consolidated initial interest. The bibliometric analysis shows that positive psychology applied to higher education experienced significant growth during the period analyzed. The conclusions highlight the potential of positive psychology as a tool to promote quality education and well-being (SDGs 3 and 4), underscoring the urgency of inclusive policies and global collaborative networks.
