Gamification has made significant contributions to education by using technology and games to achieve learning outcomes. Systematic review study with papers published between 2013 and 2023; Scopus and Ebsco were used for the search; the findings were recorded in Excel and classified according to author/year, title, database, country, language, approach, design, and contribution of each article. The objective was to analyze gamification in relation to the development of logical-mathematical thinking in basic education. The PRISMA methodology was applied throughout the selection process, and 735 studies were recorded, of which 25 full-text articles were included. It was concluded that the benefits of gamification are still being discovered, but that it has several advantages, above all in developing students' logical-mathematical thinking.
