Religious education plays a fundamental role in the comprehensive education of adolescents, promoting not only knowledge of religious aspects, but also the internalization of values that guide their behavior. The present study aimed to examine the existing scientific evidence on the relationship between religious education and the development of values in students, through a systematic review of articles published between 2019 and 2024 in indexed databases such as Scielo, Scopus, and Web of Science. Using the PRISMA approach, 14 studies were identified that met the inclusion and methodological quality criteria. The results show that religious pedagogy contributes significantly to the strengthening of values in adolescents, highlighting its role not only as a means of academic instruction but also as a tool for ethical and personal development.
