Digital competencies are basic skills of today's teachers because their use allows them to strengthen educational processes. The objective of the study was to identify the levels of digital competencies of basic education teachers. The systematic review was used following the PRISMA method. Booleans were used to search for information, whose equation was “digital competence” OR “competencia digital” AND teachers OR docentes. A total of 313 articles were selected in Spanish, English and Portuguese, published in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and Scielo. The inclusion criteria were based on the methodology of the study and the comparison of results of the information obtained in open access articles published between 2019 and 2023.
