QUISPE ICARAYME, Karen et al. Student perception of intellectual capital and its influence on teacher knowledge management. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2025, vol.9, n.38, pp.1720-1741. Epub 01-Abr-2025. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v9i38.1012.
Intellectual capital is a key intangible asset in educational institutions, since it enhances the generation, dissemination and application of knowledge. Its relationship with knowledge management is fundamental to improve educational quality and teaching innovation. In this context, the study aimed to determine the influence of intellectual capital on teacher knowledge management from the perspective of university students of a professional school of initial education in Apurimac during 2024. It was analyzed whether this influence is maintained in its dimensions: creation, capture, renewal, distribution and use of knowledge. The research adopted a quantitative approach, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, with explanatory scope. A survey with a Likert-type scale was applied, using two instruments: one with 21 items on intellectual capital (human, internal and external capital) and the other with 40 items on knowledge management. Through descriptive and inferential analyses, ordinal logistic regression was used to evaluate the relationship between the variables. The findings showed a significant influence of institutional intellectual capital on teacher knowledge management and its dimensions.
