Professional Practices (PP) have become a significant component that allows students to apply academic theoretical knowledge in a real and multidisciplinary work environment. The objective of this work was to analyze the importance of professional practices in the development of skills among students, for which a systematic review of the literature of articles published from 2019 to 2024 on this academic activity was carried out, in different databases: Scielo, EBSCO, Google Scholar; In this search, variables and Boolean operators will be used, following the selection guidelines of the PRISMA protocol. The results reveal the importance of this curricular activity in developing and strengthening skills among students, highlighting support and monitoring of tutors in charge. It is concluded that professional practices on the ground strengthen specific skills for the professional future, as well as socio-emotional skills that, today, are valued by employers.
