Resumen

FLORES CHOQUEHUANCA, Jessica et al. Power skills from the perspective of higher education students. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2025, vol.9, n.37, pp.1153-1166.  Epub 24-Feb-2025. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v9i37.975.

The objective was focused on analyzing the development of power skills in higher education students of a public pedagogical school in Trujillo. A mixed approach was used under a sequential design, combining first quantitative and then qualitative data, to collect information were chosen n=142 students under the simple randomized probabilistic strategy; also, n=9 were chosen non-probabilistically by convenience. The results showed that most of the students 51.4% have a high level of power skills, followed by moderate level 47.9% and low level 0.7%. The emerging categories identified through the cooccurrences of the codes-documents for the reconstruction of the aprioristic analysis subcategories; concluding that collaborative tools and commitment to the team are part of the complementarity strategies between hard skills and soft skills demonstrated through the combination of perceptual and cognitive processes.
