Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2025, vol.9, n.37, pp.873-887. Epub 24-Fev-2025. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v9i37.957.
Correct oral expression is essential for the comprehensive development of children. Because of this, the research aimed to analyze the perspectives on the impact of verbal games on the development of oral expression in preschool children. The study had a qualitative, basic, exploratory approach and non-experimental design in which semi-structured interviews were conducted with four professionals from educational institutions in Metropolitan Lima, Peru. The results reveal a positive perception of its practice, with benefits such as improved verbal fluency, pronunciation and the development of phonological skills. In addition, they enrich vocabulary, promote memory, attention and critical thinking. However, the need for parents to actively involve themselves in their implementation at home was appreciated. It concludes with the suggestion that verbal games be integrated into the educational curriculum.
