Strengthening language skills has emerged as a priority in the educational field. The objective of the present study was to analyze the impact of the application of teaching strategies aimed at developing language skills in high school students of an Ecuadorian educational institution during the second period of the 2023-2024 school year. A quantitative methodology and quasi-experimental design were used, with a sample consisting of 70 students. To collect information, instruments were used for the diagnosis (pre-test) and progress (post-test) of the students. A teaching proposal based on principles of communication and collaborative learning was implemented, with activities such as brainstorming, group discussion, and creative writing. The results showed significant improvements in all the skills evaluated, with a notable reduction in students classified as "Not achieved." It is concluded that well-designed interventions can positively influence the comprehensive development of language.
