Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the influence of the application of the program Docentes Ideadores de planificación curricular in the improvement of methodological strategies in teachers of a Peruvian public educational institution. The approach was quantitative, with a quasi-experimental experimental design and a sample of 52 elementary school teachers through non-probabilistic sampling. The results after the application of the program reveal that the Mann-Whitney U statistic is 127.000 and the p-value is 0.00 (less than 0.05), determining that the application of the program Docentes Ideadores de planificación curricular influences the improvement of methodological strategies. These results confirm the importance of fully addressing the application of programs in units, learning sessions and formative assessment in curricular planning to improve methodological strategies within the educational environment.
