The article describes the effect of Learning and Knowledge Technology (LKT) in the teaching and learning process. A systematic review was carried out, considering 51 research studies, including doctoral theses and scientific articles, published in Spanish and English in 18 countries. The studies were selected from the Journals, Indexed, SciELO and Scopus databases. The findings highlight that CT is a key pedagogical resource, as it fosters motivation, collaborative work and self-learning. However, the lack of technological equipment and limited teaching skills in the use of these tools are recurrent challenges in Latin America, which hinders educational innovation and its alignment with technological progress.
