The “Learning to live together” program seeks to contribute to the strengthening of communication skills in higher education. This study aimed to demonstrate the influence of the program on three specific dimensions: expression skills, observation skills and empathic relationship skills. The research followed a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design that included an experimental group and a control group. The technique of direct observation was employed and a variable-based observation guide was used as the main instrument. The results revealed significant improvements in the experimental group compared to the control group, highlighting advances in the three dimensions evaluated. It is concluded that the program constitutes an effective tool for strengthening communication skills and promoting integral learning in higher education.
