ZEVALLOS APAZA, Juan; CHUQUIMIA CASTILLO, Marcos Josef; VILCA JOVE, Nelly Epifania y DAVILA ROJAS, Oscar Melanio. Motivational factors for learning achievement: A systematic review. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.35, pp.2610-2624. Epub 21-Oct-2024. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i35.891.
Learning outcomes depend significantly on the degree of motivation of students. Stimuli from parents and teachers contribute to students' academic success and personal development. In this context, the objective of the study was to analyze how intrinsic and extrinsic motivation favors learning. The research was developed under the interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative approach, documentary design and explanatory scope. The systematic review included a final sample of 19 articles reporting results on the importance of motivation, obtained from the Scopus, Ebsco, Scielo and Latindex databases. It was concluded that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, when adequately fostered by teachers and parents, interact in a complementary manner, generate a positive effect on the academic performance of students and should be accompanied by appropriate didactic strategies in the classroom to meet the challenges of learning.
