The administration of educational institutions and the establishment of high quality procedures in the school community demand specialized skills on the part of their leaders. These demands involve the application of complex cognitive processes. This study aimed to determine the influence of principals' professional training on school management. A quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental, basic, cross-sectional and correlational-causal design. The sample consisted of 50 teachers from two schools in Lima. The technique used was a survey and the instrument was a questionnaire. The results show a significant influence of principals' professional training on school management.
