SAAVEDRA LOPEZ, Juan José; GARVICH ORMENO, Angie Marlene  y  TORRES GRANADOS, Aida Carmen. Anxiety and the development of post-pandemic communication skills. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed a series of challenges for university students, especially when returning to the classroom, with anxiety being one of the main symptoms. This condition has become an obstacle to students' cognitive development. The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and the development of communication skills in undergraduate students of a National University in Lima during the year 2022. A quantitative approach and a non-experimental correlational design were used, with a sample of 137 students of the Professional Career of Education. Two instruments were used: one to measure the degree of anxiety and the other to evaluate the perception of communication skills. The results indicated that there is a significant correlation between anxiety and communication skills, concluding that anxiety has a negative influence on the development of communication skills in university students.
