The use of oral linguistic resources is paramount in the dynamics between teachers and students, therefore, developing oral competence is very important. The research aimed to analyze the influence of oral communicative competence in the mother tongue on learning. A systematic review of publications in the Scielo, Scopus, Web of science and Science Direct databases was carried out, applying the PRISMA method for selection. Studies referring to the variables and objective raised, between 2018-2023, in English and Spanish language were included, discarding duplicates, with characteristics not corresponding to the scientific method and of little relevance to the topic. Twenty articles were selected for analysis. It is significant that the student reaches autonomy in speech to be able to express him/herself, where the collective efforts of teachers are of importance to develop this ability and the achievement of learning.
