The constructivist approach has significantly transformed the role of the teacher from a transmitter of knowledge to a mediator in the student's learning process. In this context, pedagogical mediation stands out as a key element for the holistic development of young people. The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of pedagogical mediation as a methodology for the prevention of adolescent pregnancy in educational institutions. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a phenomenological and hermeneutic design. The interview technique was used for data collection, employing an unstructured script directed at multidisciplinary professionals working with adolescents. The results revealed that this methodology promotes critical and analytical citizenship in students, empowering them to transform their reality, with the teacher acting as a facilitator in participatory and experiential workshops, where the experiences were positively evaluated. In conclusion, pedagogical mediation is presented as an effective strategy for the prevention of adolescent pregnancy.
