Environmental awareness encompasses students' experiences, experiences and attitudes towards environmental care. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between environmental awareness and university social responsibility. A positivist approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational and causal design was used. The research was basic in nature, using the hypothetico-deductive method. The population consisted of 235 students from the Faculty of Education, with a sample of 101 participants. Data were collected through the application of two questionnaires. The results indicated that environmental awareness affects students' university social responsibility. It was found that 38.6% of the students showed an inefficient level of environmental awareness and 33.7% presented an unacceptable level of university social responsibility. According to the logistic regression analysis, environmental awareness has an 89.2% influence on university social responsibility. Therefore, it is concluded that promoting environmental awareness through pro-environmental actions contributes to the responsible care of the environment.
