The objective of this research was to determine the influence of teachers' pedagogical management on the development of research competencies. A positivist paradigm was used and a basic, non-experimental, transectional, quantitative, prospective and cross-sectional research was conducted. The sample, selected probabilistically, consisted of 192 high school students. The results showed a high degree of teaching pedagogical management (79%) compared to research competencies (82.6%). The analysis using the logistic model, with an X² value of 5.792 and a p-value = 0.016, less than 0.05, showed a slight and significant influence of pedagogical management on research competencies. It is concluded that a high pedagogical management positively influences the development of research competencies.
