The demands of today's world require competent professionals, for the achievement of this demand, it is necessary to have academic spaces with adequate comfort; the study aimed to determine the relationship between academic space in virtual education and the achievement of competencies of students in the Early Childhood Education Studies Program. This research is under the non-experimental quantitative approach of correlational design. The population consisted of 350 students of the Program, with a simple random sample of 150 students. The virtual instrument Google Form was used and in-depth interviews were conducted. The instruments applied were a questionnaire with closed questions and an observation form. The results of the research determined that there is a high positive correlation, concluding that the better the academic spaces in virtual education, the better the skills developed by students in times of pandemic.
