This study examines the relationship between educational public policies and the administration of educational institutions under the direction of the military. The objective was to investigate the influence of public policies on the administrative management of these institutions. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey applied to 83 managers of these institutions. The data were processed and analyzed with SPSS version 29 statistical software. The response levels showed similar distributions, conforming to a normal distribution. A significant relationship was found with an alpha of 0.05 and an R² of 0.694. The results indicate that government policies affect key aspects of educational administration, determining the framework in which administrative management takes place and establishing limits and expectations for those responsible for administration.
