LOPEZ, Inés Gambini; VIDAL, Víctor Gilberto Osorio  y  ALCA, Julia Teresa Palomino. Academic stress in college students' learning. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.32, pp.526-543.  Epub 10-Ene-2024. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i32.742.

In the university context, academic stress, a common response to multiple demands, can be both activating and detrimental to performance. This study, through a systematic review that addressed 24 studies, sought to identify the factors that impact academic stress in university students. It highlighted the multidimensional complexity of these factors, compounded by extraordinary events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The research concluded that the interaction of these elements not only impacts academic performance but also the mental health of students. This analysis highlights the need for effective strategies to manage and mitigate academic stress in university settings.
