Abstract

This article explores school coexistence from different perspectives, using the PRISMA method to review 50 articles selected from academic search engines such as Redalyc, Scopus, Scielo and Ebsco. It conceptualizes coexistence as a social process influenced by characteristics and attitudes of educational subjects, emphasizing the complexity and interrelation of social skills. The research highlights the tension in school life and the reproduction of segregation, advocating restorative practices and civic education. Bullying is identified as persistent, affecting student relationships. The study evidences the increase of research on school coexistence and underlines the importance of ICT and teacher training to improve the educational environment, highlighting the need for a multidimensional approach.
