Working or operative memory is a type of cognitive function that allows manipulating the information received so that it is stored and lasts in time. The objective was to analyze the working memory in learning through the dimensions "cognitive processes", "emotional reactions", "associated problems", "academic learning" and "strategies". Systematic analysis methodology was used with the use of the PRISMA protocol from 2013 to 2023. Scopus and EBSCOhost were the databases used, where out of 39 articles 18 were selected for the study, with the keyword "Working memory", "Working memory" and "working memory" using "OR", "AND" and "NOT" operators. Considering information in English and Spanish Conclusion: Working memory has a close relationship with attention and creativity. Stress and anxiety, as well as prematurity, dyslexia and neurodevelopmental disorders affect it. Working memory contributes to bilingual learning, second language memory, mathematical calculations and language. Gamification, computer programs, aerobic physical activity and yoga improve its function.
