Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyze the relevance of the identified categories in relation to communication skills and how much they strengthen the communication process. The methodology used for the elaboration of this research document was the bibliographic review, considering establishing a set of theories that support the study; this from the search for information in different databases; allowing to analyze the relevance of communication skills at different levels, within the period of five years, considering 50 articles. Part of the results infer that communicative competence is vital in the acquisition of information, it also allows making inferences which benefit the academic development of students, among other advantages that derive from communicative competences. Concluding that the use of communication skills has a factual impact on the development of those who show it.
