Abstract
RIVAS, Elier Nieto. Collaborative work in distance education from the experiences of university students. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.32, pp.202-224. Epub Jan 10, 2024. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i32.717.
Collaborative work is fundamental for the articulation of digital competences. Therefore, this research work is proposed, with the purpose of understanding the experiences of higher education students for the effective development of collaborative work in distance learning contexts. The research is qualitative under a hermeneutic-dialogical phenomenological design. The sample consisted of 17 subjects selected by non-probabilistic sampling by convenience in order to constitute 2 focus groups composed of 8 subjects each, and subsequently, an in-depth interview was applied to 1 student. Among the main findings, the importance of having a good disposition, positive attitudes and exchange of experiences among the students to accept the group criteria in relation to roles and distribution of tasks stands out. It is concluded that students have preferences for grouping in pairs to carry out coordinated work in a more effective way.
