Abstract
PALOMINO, Dony Yohnny Astoray. Research competencies and teaching of text production in the virtual world. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.32, pp.191-201. Epub Jan 10, 2024. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i32.716.
During the suspension of face-to-face teaching, students have faced the challenge of self-learning, using various actions such as problem solving and question formulation in the remote educational environment. The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between research competencies and the teaching of text production in virtuality for secondary education students. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational design, 159 students were analyzed by non-probabilistic sampling. The results revealed a high level of research competencies in 96.9% of the students and 100% demonstrated competence in text production. The positive, high and statistically significant correlation supports the conclusion that students have been able to adapt effectively to remote learning, evidencing solid skills in research competencies and text production in the virtual environment.
