Abstract

The present research was referred to a case study that sought to determine the importance of research skills in public schools including them as a post-pandemic challenge. Its inductive methodological contribution with a qualitative approach contributed with the observation and analysis of the characteristics of the studied population. In order to find the results, a Guide to develop the questionnaire by means of the semi-structured interview technique was used as a research instrument, which allowed processing the information supported and collated by peers. In conclusion, it was determined that the development of research skills is of absolute relevance in school learning because they are academic tools of a higher order, which applied in a post-pandemic formative context will serve in the future and productive life of each student.
