Nowadays, aggressiveness has become a problem that occurs in several scenarios of life, one of them is the school, where children receive learning, however, not only the cognitive part is necessary but also communication, with family members participating in this process. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the relationship between family communication and aggressiveness in adolescents from two national schools in Villa María del Triunfo, Peru, 2023, for which we worked with a sample of 378 students belonging to two national schools of both sexes who were in their third to fifth year of high school. A cross-sectional field design with correlational data analysis was applied, using as instruments the Parent-Child Family Communication Scale by Barnes and Olson (1982) and the Aggressiveness Questionnaire (AG) by Buss and Perry (1996). The results indicate that there is no relationship between communication with respect to the father and mother with aggressiveness, while, when evaluating dimensions, the opposite is verified. The study concludes that to the extent that openness to communicate with parents improves, aggressiveness in children decreases.
