Learning environments are a series of resources which have had a great impact on the higher education system. The objective of this study is to analyze virtual environments in education and innovative strategies in the teaching and learning process, with innovative strategies. The methodology was quantitative with a cross-sectional descriptive design, the method used was a questionnaire taking into account the Likert scale as an instrument, with a random sample of 130 students from the Centro Universitario del Norte, University of Guadalajara. The results showed that virtual learning environments (VLE) are an indispensable tool for their training, they primarily use the Moodle platform as it was done before the COVID-19 pandemic, within their resources there are innovative activities for learning and clear and effective communication of the VLE, in conclusion, these environments are not being used in the post-pandemic stage which contribute to educational training.
