In recent years, ICTs have gained more strength, due to the need and importance of having skills to manage virtual resources, within personal, professional and labor development. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze ICT competencies in higher education, through a systematic review within the period of the last 5 years. The search was carried out by generating an analysis of the information collected from EBSCO, Redalyc, Scopus, Scielo and Scholar Academic, where 122 results were obtained from the initial searches and according to selection criteria 49 were left for analysis.
