Dramatization is a technique that is used for different purposes, one of them is the development of communicative skills because the participant can assume different roles and freely express his thoughts. In this sense, the objective of the study was to analyze the impact of dramatization on communicative skills in elementary school students. A narrative review was conducted, the search was carried out in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, using as descriptors: dramatization, communicative skills, oral expression, benefits of dramatization, advantages of dramatization, among others. The search results were 35 sources that under criteria 27 bibliographic sources were selected. It was concluded that the use of dramatization in basic education contributes to the development of basic communication skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing.
