In the context of COVID-19, educational institutions were faced with the need to maintain effective managerial leadership, in addition to rethinking the educational approach and educational management to ensure the continuity of learning and the well-being of students. The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of managerial leadership on virtual teaching in an educational institution in Peru, through a basic research with a non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 101 teachers to whom a questionnaire was applied, under the variable managerial leadership in virtual education and its dimensions: technological infrastructure, pedagogical aspects, life cycle, teachers, students and institutional context; finding that the estimated value of location between the variables was 4.892, which indicates that there is a positive relationship between managerial leadership and virtual education in an educational institution in Peru. It was concluded that managerial leadership has a significant impact on virtual education.
