Abstract

The study plans constitute a determining factor for the training and labor insertion of the graduate, their evaluation is essential. The objective was to diagnose the state of the university study plans of the Physics program, identifying the shortcomings and strengths to improve the construction of relevant study plans and contribute to quality training. The research corresponds to the quantitative approach, basic type; As a sample, eight curricula from different public universities were considered, evaluated with an observation sheet of 167 items, an instrument validated by five experts. A reliability of 0.9952 was obtained, the confirmatory KMO analysis indicates that there are no items with similarity. The results show that the plans are outdated, disjointed and out of context; about 25% have deficient condition. It is concluded that these need periodic reviews for the updating, articulation and contextualization of contents and activities that allow the formation of competences that society requires.
