Social skills and cooperative learning in students are indispensable in the teaching process. The objective was to determine the influence of social skills on cooperative learning in Health Sciences students. The study presents a quantitative approach, non-experimental, descriptive, causal explanatory and cross-sectional design. The social skills and cooperative learning instruments were adapted, and validity and reliability were assessed. The sample consisted of 289 students and ordinal logistic regression analysis was performed with the IBM-SPSS vs 27 program. The results showed that social skills influence 64.5% in cooperative learning (p<0.000), 68.8% in group processing (p<0.000), 69.6% in interpersonal practice (p<0.000), 64.8% in positive interdependence (p<0.000), 71.1% in promoting interaction (p<0.000) and 66.8% influence individual and group responsibility (p<0.000). Therefore, social skills influence cooperative learning.
