The growing technological development demands from teachers the acquisition of specific skills to design and facilitate effective learning experiences. In this sense, this study aims to verify the existence of a significant relationship between teaching strategies and quality of virtual education in teachers at a public university. For this purpose, a cross-sectional quantitative methodology was applied, which used a survey as a technique and two questionnaires as an instrument, validated by expert judgment, and its reliability was determined, which was very high, by means of Cronbach's alpha. As a result, it is shown that the variables teaching strategy and quality of virtual education present a Spearman correlation level of 0.679; thus concluding that there is indeed a significant and positive correlation between teaching strategies and the quality of virtual education.
