Currently, work and educational spaces have been altered by the pandemic, and so has the way of communicating; we have gone from a communication in time to a communication in real time. The objective of this research is to know the importance of communication in virtual classrooms, seeking to identify tools and strategies that allow a better virtual communication. The approach is quantitative, basic type, hypothetical deductive method and descriptive non-experimental design, a reliability of 0.72 was obtained using Cronbach's Alpha. The population is made up of 25 students from the faculties of the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú. The results show that 12% do not use audio conferences, 25% do not use virtual evaluation tools that allow a better interaction, this means that teachers are not taking advantage of technological tools to have a good virtual communication. It is concluded that there is a need to improve virtual communication with technological tools.
