Abstract
GUERRERO, Johana Betsabeth Barriga; OROZCO, Juan Francisco Orbegoso and HERNANDEZ, Bryam Alejandro Colán. Educational quality in regular basic education institutions. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.28, pp.927-941. Epub Feb 09, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i28.564.
Quality in the educational system creates conditions for comprehensive, accessible and lasting instruction. The aim of this study was to analyze the quality of education in regular basic education institutions. It was based on a systematic literature review, following the PRISMA protocol for the selection of 25 works in the main search engines such as: Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo. The findings show that educational quality is not something that can be standardized, but is considered a goal rather than a measure of success of a given institution. In conclusion, the importance of considering educational quality, educational policy and the pedagogical problems imposed by the system from a perspective that emphasizes greater dedication and social responsibility, where its plans are developed with the input of all parties involved in the operation of the institution, is emphasized.
