Abstract

After the appearance of COVID-19, education underwent a change, as well as the development of Socioemotional Competencies (CSE) in students. The objective was to determine whether the application of the Working Together Program strengthens CSE in students. The approach was quantitative, quasi-experimental, there were two study groups, comprised as: control and experimental, the survey technique was used, taking instruments at the beginning and at the end of the program. In addition, the participants were students in the second grade of high school, being these 64 distributed in the two groups, the data treatment was carried out through Excel and the SPPS current version for 2023. The results found determined that the proposed program develops SES in a high, significant and positive way; therefore, it is concluded that the educational programs enable the development of SES and promote meaningful learning in basic education classrooms.
