Student learning in times of pandemic has had a great impact on regular basic education; it is for this reason that virtual autonomous learning (VLA) is strengthened as a response to the human need to learn. The objective was to interpret the AAV in students who were confined and built their new knowledge through technological mediation, the type of research was basic of hermeneutic design, the population was constituted by experts in technological mediation and autonomous learning; The results reaffirm that this type of learning was strengthened as a result of the confinement linked to education, to the need to continue learning, to the guidance and interaction between educational entities, achieving self-learning, self-knowledge of oneself, self-regulation of the learning process and self-direction on the needs of the individual.
