Abstract

QUIQUE, Carmen Lourdes Ledesma  and  PEREZ, Jackeline Karina Sevairos. Use of digital tools for the development of critical thinking in students. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.27, pp.509-517.  Epub Jan 09, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i27.533.

The development of intellectual standards in students is of vital importance, because it helps them to perform a broad analysis of information. Therefore, the objective of this study is to establish the relationship between digital tools and the development of critical thinking in students. For this purpose, a basic, descriptive, cross-sectional, cross-sectional study of correlational analysis was developed, with a sample of 38 students to whom a survey was applied using the Likert measurement scale composed of two variables. As a result, 55.3% had a medium level of use of digital tools and 71.1% a high level of development of critical thinking. It was concluded that the use of digital tools is related to the development of critical thinking in students of the Manuel de Mendiburu Educational Institution in the city of Tacna.
