The subject of Linear Algebra is considered within the curriculum of the professional schools of basic sciences, engineering, economic and business sciences of the universities as a formative course, besides this subject will be useful to elaborate future projects when they exercise their profession. The objective of the study was to determine the teaching of linear algebra in university students by examining the academic literature. The systematic review methodology was used, selecting databases such as: Google Scholar, EBSCO, Scopus, Scielo, REDALYC and Dialnet. The review allowed us to conclude that teaching this course requires certain particularities; teachers, using didactics, should motivate interest, demonstrating that the learning acquired will be useful in professional practice.
